Another update. I've given up my 9-5 job and now trade full time due to my income for December and January.

 

I scrape daily fixtures from Soccerstats into Excel using PowerQuery and sort fixtures by kick off time. This gives me great info into which matches are likely to have goals in it. There are some matches that Betfair don't do so I use my gubbed Ladbrokes account to place bets on these games.

 

Under 19/21/23's are fucking boss for goals, not just England, but other countries too. I'm doing all sorts of leagues around the world, but nothing better than Dutch and German leagues for goals. Women's footy is also good for goals.

 

The best thing is spotting opportunities. For example the Spurs v City, Leicester v Chelsea games. Both games were 0-0 at half time and got awesome odds at half time for overs. There was an U23's match that was 5.0 odds are half time. I put a wedge on that and it came up trumps and there were 2 quick goals in the 2nd half.

 

I also look for opportunities where lots of goals are expected and the under 2.5 goals is very high, where I can make a few quid in the first 10/20 mins.

 

In between that, I'm scalping horse races (pre-race) making a few quid from each race. Even more that that if I take into play and manage to scalp the first 3 or 4 favourites.

 

Also doing other sports like tennis and cricket. Layed England today for 1.61 for the ODI and made a tidy profit. Managed to back Djok in the Aussie final when he was 2-1 down.

I’ve had a shocking start to February. Casino done me over at the weekend and I’m in the red after the first 4 days. If Newcastle hadn’t conceded at the end there I’d have been on exactly £0 for the month which I’d have gladly taken. Still got loads of sign ups to do in my sister’s name and a handful in Mrs Turdseye’s which I’ve been putting off for ages. I’m gonna focus on them for a couple of days I think.

105 games on my spreadsheet for today (Tuesday). On Saturdays/Sundays, this is close to 1000 for each of those days.

 

Made a packet on the German cup/FA cup games/a few other games just from this evening, let alone the rest of the games from earlier today.

Fair enough. I‘ve dabbled in trading but with smaller stakes but I haven’t got the discipline to get out after one or two ticks. The gambler in me is too greedy.

I learnt very early in trading not to be greedy.

 

Watched £80 profit go down to £2 during a PSG game about 6 weeks ago waiting for the 3rd goal. That was a big lesson for me.

 

I don't win all of them and sometimes you have to cash out for a loss rather than letting it run.

I have won over 4k on casino in past 8/9 months and when I win big I just put most into a savings account and keep the rest as a float. Most from raw deposits than offers and deposits no more than 20-30 quid. I also trade small but generally avoid horses and stick to footie mostly but will never make that much as I wont risk big stakes as its mostly just for interest.

I don't see how this is sustainable long term whatsoever, for the sheer amount of bets you must be placing, and it's all well and good lower leagues have high goals but the markets reflect that, it sounds to me like it would be better as a hobby mate but best of luck all the same.

I just hope you are saving some. The problem I used to have was that I was recycling the winnings and ultimately losing most of it and having nothing to show for it. The summer is a problem as there is much less football to trade on and the liquidity is not the greatest in those games. That said,I hope you can sustain it as the prominent full time traders tend to have a very large bankroll or sell their products to make serious cash.

If anyone is interested, I can start posting tips for matches that I trade on.

 

You need a Betfair account as you want to be able to cover different scenarios.

 

I only target games with a very high chance of goals. There are some great smaller leagues like the Danes and Austria that I make good money from.

It’s nice to have the sports back though. Even on my limited accounts I’ve hustled £350 so far in the month of June from MB’ing. Need to build up my bank again to get back on the extra places.

Its easy to do it yourself. Dont pay others to do it as you will often need to prove your ID and payment methods. You'd be better getting a friend who you trusted to do it for you.

It’s too late to be worthwhile now, mate. The bookies offers just aren’t there anymore. You could definitely make a few hundred from the sign up offers and there’s always the chance of hitting a big spin on the casino sign ups, but it’s something you could do by yourself in less than a week just sat on your phone/laptop for a couple of hours each evening.

Agree. Plus the security checks now are ridiculous and you need to have a colonoscopy to remove most of your money.
