It's galling when you realise that the US are impeaching their president for colluding with a foreign power, and here we are, with a government working with Russia, and we're told to fuck off and stop being poor, it's our fault, and we should be proud to have our children fingered by the Royal family.

These bastards are ripping the piss out of us.  Michael Gove should be dragged behind a horse through Whitechapel.  If someone bagged up his remains I'd pay for a bag of them, and I'd take it to a witchdoctor to curse his family forever.

Post of the day.

I think it's a fucking brilliant manifesto.

It IS radical compared with 9 years of standstill in public investment, and the previous New Labour watered-down socialism, and the abyss of Major and Thatcher.

I don't care what it costs.  I have a finite amount of money already, you can't take any more from me than you currently do, because I'll have to owe you.  Id rather you took my money and used to it to build a caring society, so that if I DO have money problems, you can help me get back on my feet, get a job with a decent wage, and afford something as basic as a house to stash my guns and war medals in.

Absolutely.

it blows my mind a little bit when people take issue with calling what Labour is proposing “radical” - they are attempting to overhaul the fundamental mechanics of how our country works and for whom it has chiefly serviced for the past decades. It’s easy to sit on the sidelines sniping from afar, but I’m yet to see a convincing argument why this isn’t the best set of policies put forward by a major party in modern times, and a massive departure from what we’ve grown used to in this country.

@SasaS can speak for himself, but my take on his post is that he was pleasantly surprised (or relieved) that the manifesto is not ‘radical’. He never struck me as left leaning.

Was that above your post about me?

I'm genuinely interested in policies and economy so I was intrigued to see what will come from Labour as one of the most interesting and influential left wing parties in Europe at the moment. How they see the fundamental change of the status quo.

I've often wonder who Rachel Riley is, I see everyone on here calling her a cunt. But I don't do social media and I don't watch whatever TV show she's made her name on.

I made a a similar comment a few months back and some people accused me of lying. So expect some venom your way Barry.

Lying that I don't know her? I've only ever heard of her off this forum. I've genuinely no idea who she is, aside from clearly being a Corbyn hater who'd fucking get it.
