Very surprised at these results & like everyone didn’t want to see Boris govern.

The Labour Party went left with Corbyn & it clearly hasn’t worked in a country that majority-wise appears to not be very left.

The party either stick with their beliefs & probably face the same result next time if they take a similar approach.

Or do a ‘New Britain’ Blair-type approach by changing their ideology more to appeal more to middle Britain & kick the Tories out like in 97.

There’s a middle ground between Corbyn and, well, the middle ground. While New Labour did offer some positive change, fuck all of it survived the Tories, because it just wasn’t built to last. So I think a Labour Party that defines itself as being to the left of Blair while eschewing some of Corbyn's more idealistic policy goals is - I hope - where we'll find ourselves. We don’t need a slightly nicer Tory party that temporarily makes things a bit better before the real deal comes back and instantly makes them ten times worse.

Depressing shit to wake up to. Think it will end up being a very hard Brexit. Good luck to you all in the UK for the next few years

Always been the name of the game given the amount of hedge fund money depending on it.

Nigel Dodds gone, nationalists likely to outnumber unionists coupled with a de facto border in the Irish Sea. Not sure how much of the UK Boris will have left to govern in a few years

It will just be England, possibly minus Liverpool

Tory twat Sam Gyimah splits the non-Tory vote and gives Kensington back to the Tories.

Yeah have just been responding to a twat on twitter I was arguing with the other night about that. Such a small margin but they refused to back down. Utter pricks.
