This is codswallop. She has ruled out supporting Johnson, just as she has ruled out supporting Corbyn. Yet you believe her when she says she won't support Corbyn, but not when she says she won't support Johnson. Baffling and illogical.

I have not seen a single time when she has said she would not support Johnson in an alliance. I have watched pretty much all of the debates and a large number of her speeches and she has always been adamant about not siding with Labour but always deflected the question when asked about the Tories.

Its just what I have seen and heard her say. Don't call that codswallop because I don't lie.

I hope you are right Strontz. I really really do. More than you could possibly fathom because I know how bad a Tory (or Tory/Lib-Dem) government will be for myself and for the rest of the UK.  It truly should be a case of "Keep the Tories out at ANY cost". The Libs were never ever getting anywhere near a majority and they absolutely should have sided with Labour from the start. They didn't which is why when Swinson speaks I simply do not believe a word that comes out of her mouth.

Must admit don't quite understand what points he is making here. That the media shouldn't be reporting results from a big poll because it was conducted days before it was published, and it would therefore influence the situation today, which is considerably different, based on his personal opinion it is different? That media are not reporting that the Tory vote has not changed? That people will secretly vote Tory because they (secretly) want to be on the "winning team"?

What sir roger said, it's just total bias really to make it look like Tories are doing better than they are, and this idea of leave voters on election day allowing the Tories to get an easy win is purely because of that I think. So as long as the vote isn't too badly split between Labour and Lib Dems and we have good turnout from younger people a hung parliament could be likely.

For a Labour/SNP alliance there'd have to be massive polling errors when it comes to things like tactical voting and turnout so can't really get hopes up for that. It's not really a normal election at all though so anything is possible I suppose (but this is me simply trying not to give up all hope in a win seeing as it's probably Jezza's last election as leader.)

So they're shitting it then basically. Would love to know what poll numbers Boris and his mates are seeing. Saw something on twitter earlier about some people seeing tons of propaganda being plastered all over facebook ads today too, does seem like they're worried at least if true.

So would you be if you had the IRA, Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Slobodan Milosevic, Jaws, Pol Pot and M-19 on your case

Think they are crapping it that they might not get majority. DUP would bail them out on everything bar his oven ready deal. Needs the numbers without them.

If the Lib Dem’s and swinson really wanted a shot at cancelling Brexit then they should have sides with Labour. They will cosy up with the tories. Again.

I think Lib Dems going anti Corbyn was the right thing to do. We need the Lib Dems to win seats from the Tory's, and that largely means Tory voters switching to Lib Dem. If those voters felt they were essentially giving their vote to Corbyn, they would be less likely to switch.

Agreed, definitely seems more likely that we're heading for a hung parliament the way things are going, or if not a Tory majority so small that it should crumble over the coming months.

Ok sorry but you are wrong. She has given plenty of other reasons. She has also refused to rule out cosying up with the tories. It is terrifying that yet again we are staring down the barrel of a Tory/Lib-Dem alliance.

She said she could not support the Tory's whilst they have their current Brexit strategy. I think that is as good a ruled out

But Tories are doing the way they are doing, if you look at graphs extending back to the summer and further, you can see some trends and event influencing that trends. Polls were showing they were doing horribly a couple of months ago, than they were showing Labour were doing terribly  for a while, than the Lib Dems had a bid dip and so on.

As has been said, she would side with them if they allowed a second referendum. Thats concerning.

Lib Dem’s will do a deal with Johnson in exchange for a people’s vote. Bookmark this

I can't see that myself. Lib Dems would make themselves look even more dishonest than they are already seen as being. The Tories would then haemorrhage votes again to the Brexit lot. That's if they were still around, of course.

Although, you never know with the Libs. They'll sell out their voters again, as Jo Swinson seems to think that you can rectify past lies and betrayals by just saying sorry a few times.

Another day, another Brexit Party idiot. Yeah, Andy, never seen Remainers told to shut up because they’ve lost. Never.

Leave supporters suffering 'racism of opinion', claims Brexit party candidate

Earlier I quoted the Brexit party candidate in Doncaster North, Andy Stewart, saying he had been a victim of “racism of opinion”. (See 10.18am.) The Press Association has now filed his quotes. Stewart said, as a mixed-race man, he had seen racism first-hand. But he claimed the abuse he has witnessed in the past month as a Brexit party candidate had been quite different.

There’s a new kind of racism about.

It’s not for colour, it’s not for creed or race, and it’s not for religion - it’s for opinion. It’s racism of opinion.

You are then charged with being of this kind of opinion, and you’re ostracised.

People turn around and tell you that your opinion’s not worth anything, you’re charged with being different to other people.
