Purely about Brexit, that is why he is not standing against Tories who support remain.

All talking about how this will damage Labour and help the Tories, which is the entire reason of the Brexit party. He will be in the Lords if the Tories win.

Unbelievable but methinks it could be a Sir rather than a Lord Farage

@BethRigby: Just interviewed @Nigel_Farage who won’t stand down candidates in Tory target seats. BXP takes 2 Tory votes for every Lab one. So the Lab Brexit battlegrounds still v much in play. Does he split vote let Lab thru? Lab will be massively relieved #GE2019

Mmmm... So will we see the Tories not exactly stand down in those seats, but not target them. If brexit win, they'll vote with the Tories anyway.

It's ok the Beeb have apologised now but no one will ever know about Johnson yesterday unless you go on Twitter...

Job done as far as they are concerned

It's just the latest way to get around False News during an election campaign.

Deliver false news to get the headlines. Apologise on Twatter knowing damn well that a lot of people don#t use it. Job done. The headlines are out there and the gullible will swallow them.

Even worse is the fact the Tories are promising to repair/improve all sorts of stuff. They've been in Gov't for the last 9 years and delivered fuck all, how gullible or stupid are these people who swallow this shit?

Are there any seats Brexit can actually win, could there be a phase 2 of this, as in Tories not campaigning in a couple of constituencies, in exchange of Brexit pulling out where they can unseat Labour? That is, are there any seats where the 2:1 is reversed, where Brexit take more votes from Labour than from the Conservatives?

This looks appealing at first glance the idea of pacts and logical but if people think the fix is in they will rebel. Part of voting is having a choice if voters think they are being withheld that choice all sorts of crazy shit could happen. Personally I have no problems with the Lib Dems standing in any seat but my problem with them is their misinformation about their polling and saying Labour aren't offering a referendum. Farage and the Lib Dems have spent so long slagging off the two main parties that their troops will struggle to turn around even if they want them to. In other words voters have to buy into.... rather than be forced by withdrawal of candidates. Not that is likely that Swinson and Chuka will look to compromise or Labour.

According to the media he is standing down Brexit MP's in seats won by Tories in 2017. It remains to be seen if that indeed will be the case, what with him saying Johnson isn't delivering Brexit.

Farage is just being used as a vehicle to move Britain farther Right, nothing more.

I would absolutely approve of this if all parties promoted a change to voting system and remove FPTP so it never has to happen again in the future.

If there were, Farage would be standing there.

Labour had the same invitation as everyone else to join Unite to Remain with the Lib Dems, Greens and Plaid Cymru. The only conditions were a commitment to support Remain, the intention to implement electoral reform and being willing to stand down. Labour weren't interested and that bird has flown.
