He can quite simply fuck off down the Michael Owen way. He's gradually become a Sky muppet, and now he is fucking off loyalty towards the club. We got shafted by the mancs and FA and now he is apologetic towards one of the most cuntish players to play in the league.

He probably reads the s*n aswell, fucking muppet. Just plain fuck off.

Personally, I would have preferred him to say "The club got it massively wrong... by not appealing that sack of shit panel and their perverse verdict which contradicted the findings of their own investigation" - but I'm not prepared to call him a cunt because he didn't say that.

Jamie Carragher is in no way a "shithouse", an "embarrassment", a "witless balloon" a or a "cunt". Although I sometimes disagree with parts of his commentary, he comes across as thoughtful, compassionate and knowledgeable.

I'm sure he has good reason to say what he said. To attack him like this reminds me of the way another local team can turn on their own. You'll never walk alone eh?

Agreed, one little incident like this doesn’t mean Jamie Carragher is an ”embarrassment”, “shithouse”, “cunt” nor “witless balloon”.

However, bending over once again, just because the rat himself was sat in the studio, was a embarrassingly shithouse, cuntish witless balloon-ish thing to do.

*Shrugs*

I just find myself having almost no interest in anything he has to say. He's an average pundit and an abysmal commentator. Just a Sky guy now.

I'd have thought someone that spat at someone would keep their head down and avoid trying to take, in my opinion completely misguided, "moral" stances. I think he's just so thoroughly engulfed in his status as one of the main men on Sky that any self awareness he did have has completely evaporated.

When he's commentating with Tyler and Neville I actually find Neville the least tedious of the three.

What's your fucking problem? He did drag it up by apologising, he should have said 'no comment', or just said it's nothing to do with today. He's a tit!

Don't be a bell.

He didn’t spontaneously start talking about it.  He wasn't doorstepped (where "no comment" would have been appropriate). He was a studio guest, alongside Patrice Evra: "no comment" wasn’t an option.

I disagree with what he said, but pretending that it was Carra "dragging it up" is just stupid.

He's sold his soul to Sky and it's embarrassing watching him sing to their tune every week. I don't see him as a club representative any more, especially when he's whoring himself to Nevile and Tyler but I genuinely feel more pity for him than hate (Which may sound ridiculous, considering he's achieved a lot more than I have and is a multi-millionaire). He's lost his identity to fit in with 'the cool gang'.

Some of the comments about a club legend on here are embarrassing

Legend for his playing career for us I'll agree to. Selling up the club and a fellow team mate, not so much. He knows we got shafted by baconface, mancs and the FA, and he fucking apologises to the little lying rat. that's not a legend. that's an embarrasing character, who's trying to tow the company line and their general agenda.

Owen levels of legendary status overall wise for me know. Others think otherwise, and that's fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I respect people for sticking to them.

Thank you for putting my exact meaning into words.

LFC handled the Suarez/Evra incident embarraisngly wrong. In fact the t-shirt stunt was the only thing the club did that was not embarrasingly wrong (thanks Kenny).
