It was mixed messages. He was messing with my head. I lost respect for him, to be honest. He used to phone me up and tell me I was a wonderful guy, and would I like to go and see Tinie Tempah live at the Arena with him - and then he'd not phone back and go with someone else. It was disappointing, to be honest.

This will be a real test, and is definately a game where a better squad could’ve been useful. Our counter pressing will be key, both in attack and defence. The vital seconds after we loose possesion will be where our ability and energy to press will make the difference between us winning it back and threatening to score, and them hitting us on the counter. Mental and physical freshness from our players will be the decisive factor.

Lovren is a surprise but Gomez has looked ropey, so not crazy. Just hope he has his nut in the game, especially with Vardy running the channels.

Milner is a surprise - assume Gini is going to be the one furthest forward. Part of me was hoping to see Naby.

No Ox even on the bench is intriguing.

Elliott on the bench is brilliant. Really hope we get to see him today.

Elliott may just have leapfrogged Brewster in the pecking order, one game though it is.

Big show of faith in him this early on either way.

My mate worked the game the other night. Was sat in-front of elliot and said he is a bellend. Pissing about all game and just generally being an obnoxious little twat. I know he is only young like but someone needs to get a grip of him because the lad has clearly got talent.

Yes, to be fair, he's 16, I bet we were all little bellends in one way or another at that age. It's up to the club and senior players to pull him in line if he's acting the big I am.

That said, it's been a long while since I have seen a young player and proclaimed almost straight away that he's "got it", the lad oozes quality.
