No, he played in Italia 90 aswell

I was too young for Italia 90! I didn't even have him down as a borderline 1985 debut player, I thought he made his debut well after that.

I knew it  would be close as i knew he played Italia 90 but was unsure how early he started. But as i said as he was part of Vicenza youth team that had him playing so early. Playing in Serie C at 16 and joining Fiorentina at 18 when there was doubts he would never play again as he had badly fucked his knee.

I used to watch one Serie A game every weekend. I loved it. So many ‘magicians’; Zidane, Recoba, Totti, Del Piero, Mancini.
