Favourite meat for home made burgers

Just made some home made burgers using Lamb which I minced myself, fucking gorgeous as usual. Just wondering what you heathens prefer? 

 

The Family and Myself prefer the following.

 

Lamb

Beef

Wild Boar

Venison

 

 

Normal pork can get to fuck, hardly eat any of it anyway. 

 

Edit: Fucked up my own vote...clicked on Wild Boar instead of Lamb..Duhhh.

Beef as thats what I would normally always use (aberdeen angus mince). 

 

I did use Halal Chicken once to make chicken burgers. I couldn't find chicken mince that wasn't halal so bought that and they were unreal.

A hamburger is beef. For me, short rib and chuck mix.

Anything else is either just a patty or needs a hyphen - veggie-burger, turkey-burger etc.

I haven’t heard anyone in this country call it a hamburger in years. It’s always beef burger or just burger. Nowadays, you only ever see the word hamburger used in places like McDonald’s.
