If he's not looking at it he can't see it. Not keen on SA officials, but he has been good today. Wales will probably go on to win this now, but I've thought they have been hit and miss the whole tournament. If they don't up their game in the Semi#s they ain't making a final.

Watching officiating and video referees and how well it works in rugby makes you think why the fuck the same principals can't be applied in football. Even the red card which wasn't seen on the initial check.

 

Even applying the sin bin for yellows would work I think, just for cynical tackles like shirt grabbing or bringing a player down when you're not the last man.

They certainly have a chance as they play good Rugby and will have massive support. SA are obvious favourites, Japan have beaten them before though.

That was my bet after the very first game, unfortunately I didn't stick any money on it.

 

Wales have been shit today, they may still pull this off, but without that Red card I reckon they'd have been toast a while ago. 

 

If they do go on to win this, they'll have gained on belief though.

 

As I type the Welsh go in for a try, a lot of relieved Welsh people if the conversion goes over.

I thought it was myself, hard to judge though. Ref gave the try on-field so it would have had to have been conclusive to overturn that call. Maybe the Ref thought...'I reckon SA have a better chance of beating the Welsh in a possible semi.'

The French fucked it up for themselves. That missed penalty at the end of the first half and indeed the phases of play leading up to that when they really should have gone over for a try. The obvious Red Card which was stupidity. Wales were shit, but they won't give a shit about that. They are into a semi and the pack is shuffled.
