Looking forward to this despite the kick-off times. Not the biggest Union fan but do like the 6 Nations and the World Cup.

Ireland should piss pool A and if Scotland can beat Samoa they should go through too.

Tussle between the All Blacks and SA for pool B top spot.

England have got the toughest pool as France and Argentina are both capable of turning them over.

Australia and Wales will qualify from pool D

Would love to see Ireland win it, New Zealand probably will and I fancy Wales to make the final.

Really looking forward to this and good that it is on terrestrial tv. The fact that no one team is at their best might make for great games. Some decent group games but should take off when the sudden death games start.

Going to have to be clever with the recording of the games and try not to turn on to SSN or BBC/ITV news programmes by mistake and find out results.

Fancy the Saffers but 4/1 not really a working man's price so might throw a tenner on the Aussies.

The bookies rarely get things wrong though, Aussies have lost 5 of their last 10 matches with some heavy defeats in there. They'll always have a chance if they click, but that price is going to drag a lot of people in and the bookies will be rubbing their hands together.

Fair comments PB but realistically it seems to hinge on beating Wales in the group , and if they can do this they should start favourites against (probably ) France / Argentina in the quarters & slight underdogs against South Africa in the semis.

Like I said mate, the tournament is wide open. Any team getting to the Q/F's will fancy their chances.

England, Wales, New Zealand or South Africa to win it.

Any two from those 4 in the final. How do the pool games set up the road to the final?

If Eng;and win their group and Wales finish 2nd they play each other in the quarters.

If Ireland win their group they will likely face NZ in the quarters so it might be an idea to let Scotland beat them to that spot....
