Thanks. Needless to say organization of CDs is totally ruined now, Morrissey next to Celia Cruz next to Dinosaur Jr. This won't do at all.

Haha. Outrageous.

Why am I not surprised to hear you're a Morrissey fan ....

https://news.sky.com/story/30-people-missing-after-houses-collapse-during-severe-floods-in-germany-report-12356134

At least 33 people have died and more than 70 are missing after record rainfall triggered severe floods in western Germany and neighbouring Belgium.

Eighteen deaths were reported in the German district of Ahrweiler after the Ahr river burst its banks, bringing down six houses and causing widespread devastation.

The German state of Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz), where the properties collapsed last night, is among the worst affected areas. Homes have been evacuated within a 50m (164ft) radius of the river.

I always thought there was something especially horrible and creepy about the Lake Nyos disaster, when a volcanic lake disgorged huge amounts of carbon dioxide and suffocated hundreds of people in their sleep.

That’s bloody grim. I’d never heard about about that before. Mad how it hasn’t happened again anywhere. To that scale anyway. We are at the mercy of this planet

Limnic eruption. Fascinating stuff.

Lake Kivu, on the Congo/Rwanda border, is also at risk of a limnic eruption. Much bigger than Nyos though. It would be a disaster like we've never seen before if that goes up.
