If he wins us a title over the next 3 seasons and walks away from what that will unleash, he’s an even rarer man than already appears to be the case.

Just not worth wasting any of the good years to come worrying about it.

What will be will be, but these times won’t come again.

If he walks away for good Pochettino should get the job.

Based on what?? Linders has been an integral part of Champions League success,  to multiple finals in addintion and been in clubs that have won their league as well as been constantly in the CL.

Pochettino has never won anything. Literally. If there was ever someone who shouldn't get the gig it is him. Poundland Pep. Both are the antithesis of the club.

The “he’s never won anything” shouts need to just end.  Football has moved on.  The odds are stacked massively against managers who aren’t in charge of City and the big spenders.  Some people would happily hire finished managers like Mourinho or Benitez over Pochettino because “what’s he won” when it’s clear as day he’s a better manager now.  He’s just took spurs to a champions league final for fuck sake.  Fucking Spurs.  We should be ahead of the curve finding the next Klopp and not just hiring managers off past success because these days the only type of those managers are ones like Mourinho.

That logic got us Brendan Rodgers, then we decided to go for a manager who has won stuff and we got Klopp.

This thread is depressing and should be closed .

Can't we just enjoy now and let our players and Jürgen do the same.

I'd get pissed off if someone kept asking me what I'm gonna do in 3 years time too

With Klopp saying that he'll likely take a year to himself after 2022, what's the next chapter for LFC?

We've been stung in the past with managers coming in and flipping everything whilst we embrace a 'transition' so perhaps it'd be nice to have a bit of a plan instead.

What would you like to see in the next 2 years and who would you see as the perfect replacement?

Thread reported.

Yeah we should have gone with Van Gaal or Mourinho.  They would have bankrupted the club but we would have won a league cup.

People talk as if Rodgers was a complete disaster.  He was within a slip of winning the league you fucking cretin.  He wasn’t good enough in the end but he completely changed the style of football the team played.  Klopp took over and was happy with the majority of the team because they played a similar style of football to what he wanted which meant he could hit the ground running.  After 10 years of negative shithouse football the club was going backwards and Rodgers was completely necessary.

The club was going backwards because Houllier and Benitez played “negative shithouse football”? What a load of rubbish!

i think its all been taken out of context but if he did leave we would have no shortage of world class managers wanting the job,But i cant see it i think Klopp will be here for many years to come i wouldnt be surprised if FSG gave him a new contract with a 12 month gardening leave clause built in

Hope you are right.

Hopefully the club continues to grow financially with the new kit deal and the stadium expansion. Fantastic time to be a red.
