Nike deal

Could this not be simply 'fake news' and a way of getting the fans to warm to Nike instead? New Balance kits were really very, very good overall and then to claim they would suddenly release horrible kits far worse than previously could be stretching things as much as many of our fans will be stretching the new top when wearing it?

I like these. The home shirt, without the sponsor, is very nice

There is no way to make a Celtic Jersey look good.

Everytime I see it, I just picture a family of obese Weegies waddling about Blackpool all wearing the unwashed XXL version.

*same goes for Rangers shirts

The last two or three New Balance home kits were very good, the rest, including the Warrior ones, ranged from acceptable to awful.

This was put out a while ago and people said it looks like a sweat top (and it does!)! Still not convinced this would have been next season's shirt.

There would have been a few tweaks here and there but the basic design is what they'd have looked like. Porto are sponsored by NB and have just released their new kits, and they have the same collar and sleeve trim. It looks like NB were opting for just 2 collar designs, with the variety coming in the form of the print on the front of the shirts.

I think Nike should do what they did for their international teams in 1998. Each team had their own different design, and that design was used for both home and away kits. The goalkeeper kits were the same across the board, but that's the case nowadays anyway.

That New Balance effort is crap, but a badge inside a badge can, of course, look great.

Yeah the original beer mat badge not that one reebok tried to reproduce and the 1950 cup final shirt badge look good. I have a TOFS repro of the 50's cup final shirt and it's nothing like the material used in footie shirts you could buy in the 60s.

Other than that, Im not keen on 'shield' type badges. I didnt like the one adidas did in the late 80s. I must prefer the Liverbird with L.F.C underneath it. As for a rubberised one, if reports are true Nike are considering it, they can fuck off. Embroidered or get to fuck, rubber is what Id expect on a knock off.

Based on the images of Nike's other kits, the badges will be embroidered for the replica shirts, but the super-elite pro versions will have plastic/rubber badges applied by heat transfer. I don't really see the point because I can't think nipple chafing would be an issue nowadays seeing as players always wear base layers or those bra things under their shirts anyway.

Murder. Death. Kill. Nice serial killer shirt. Pity it’s wasted on the biggest pussies in the PL. More likely to be the victims.

The police are going to have real difficulty finding the perpetrator if there's a stabbing at the Emirates.

This new away kit Chelsea are wearing suggests the 'leaks' of our new kit are correct.

Long single stripe down side.

Brazil's new kits have a long single stripe rather than zigzags too.
