I guess they are preparing for him to settle the case before it goes to court.  Can’t wait for the Mail to try and pin the blame on Meghan.

It looks that way as the settlement will probably need to acknowledge his behaviour in some way rather than just a payoff.

What a modern progressive country we live in.

Some minor royal doesnt get to be called his royal highness anymore and its major news.

Senior member of constitutional monarchy, with significant business, diplomatic and military role, who is on the civil pay roll, has access to the great and the good, is part of international nonce network?

Depends how you look at it I guess.

When the Queen kicks it who is left.

Charles, his lady friend, Wills and wife?

Is that it?

That side would get relegated.

We could end up with a situation where John Goodman does legitimately take the throne…

Its more the fact that he isnt going to be  known by some antiquated title tbh.

The case itself is the big story here, not the fact that doffers dont get to grovel to him anymore.

Saw something on Twitter where a lawyer said that the reason the Royals have done this to Andrew is for their own protection. He does not plan to attend court, in which case a default ruling of guilty will be made.

As this is a civil case, the default ruling means his US assets can be frozen. Andrew Windsor doesn't have much in the way of US assets, but the crown does. By removing his HRH it means that the Royal assets can't be included in any claims.
