I said champions but I genuinely think it will be as close as last season between the two of us.

The difference between us and City will be luck around injuries. They have Sane who is huge for them out for the season. We may have Ali out for a few games now. Kompany was the glue keeping the egos in the dressing room together.

2nd, behind the oil cheats. Nobody will come close to us unless Spurs decide to have a good finish to their season from February onward.

I think there is a serious danger for some of our players to tire some time this season, given the high intensity of our game and the lack of proper off season breaks for them. I trust Klopp to manage this well, but I think it will ultimately affect the number of points we get. Obviously would love us to finally win it, but the cheating Mancs have got too many good players to be adversely affected by injuries. I don't think Sane out is going to affect them all that much. It's a sickener but I think we'll get a points haul which would win the league in many seasons, but wont be anywhere near enough to overcome them. I also think Spurs will be a lot closer and we will be fighting for 2nd with them. I hope I'm very wrong and we win the league by at least 10 points beating the cheats twice and with the season ending with them receiving a three year Champions League ban and a PL investigation!

I find it difficult to see how we will get past Man City, despite our fantastic efforts last season. We effectively have the same squad, Man City have strengthened.

Hopefully Keita can fulfill his potential and bring something extra to our midfield this season.

And fingers crossed our front three can stay as fit as they have done, it's key to our chance at the title.
