Congrats boys on another trophy!

 

It was a bit nervy and overall, it wasnt a good performance with misplaced passes all over the place. The conditions couldnt have helped and the boys looked out on their feet even before extra time.

 

Speaking of help. well done to the PL for making Liverpool play on Saturday 3pm after this wednesday night \ thursday morning game. You help is greately appreciated. Not!

 

Dont care what people say, I always feel for the player who misses a decisive spot kick.

 

Its great that a couple of journeymen players like Adrian and Andy Lonergan have won European SuperCup winners medals. I bet neither of them can believe their luck!

 

This trophy winning thing is great, isnt it?

 

I just hope we  recover in time for the Southampton game.

Sick of listening to the BT Sports arseholes rattlling on about our super high backline. It's no fucking different from the line we played in dozens of games last year. We have some of the very fastest defenders in the world, it'd be bloody stupid NOT to defend high and play to their strengths.

He won the World Cup and the league with Chelsea as DM. He also played as DM last night. He was good as an auxiliary box-to-box player for Sarri but certainly not as good as he could’ve been. Even under Sarri his role was more defensive than Jorginho, even though he played ahead of him.
