How the fuck are you 40? I've met you and you look about 22

We may have had this conversation drunk

My advice is drink lots of water, don't have sex very often & generally be a complete fanny. It's worked out quite well for me in terms of ageing at least.

I saw them supporting Boo Radleys in Preston. Train back was via Manchester. Could tell then they were going to be massive.

I saw them at the Leadmill in Sheffield in May 94.

Both of the support bands were better than them. One was called Millions of Honey. Can't remember the name of the other one.

On a Saturday night before Joyrider, the indie disco?

Great days.

I reckon that was at the Music Factory. Might have been on a Friday? @Paul might remember.

Just done bit of digging, it was the 14th of May which was a Saturday. I was in a band at the time and we played a gig in Sheffield on the Friday (not at the Leadmill), so we might have gone to Drop after that.

25 years is a long time. Might as well be talking about a different person on a different planet.

Makes you come across as a bit of a Blur fan

Couldn't stand either in 94, can't stand either now. The whole brit pop thing for me was complete shite

Other albums out in 94

Nirvana unplugged

Johnny Cash American Recordings

Jeff Buckley Grace

Sound Garden Superumknown

I'll take any of them instead. Or wait Alanis Morisette Jagged little pill in 95
