You're probably right as he wasn't really looking up. Either way, it wasn't absolutely fantastic.

There is enough to be criticising him without included cockiness, he shit himself with a routine back pass, he fluffed his kick and then dived like a granny to try an save it.

What can you say? He was a big reason we won the Super Cup, as well as performing admirably in Alisson's early-season absence that helped create the enormous league lead we enjoy still.

That said, to gift wrap two 'go-ahead' goals to the opposition that have ultimately seen us dumped from two competitions, is pretty fucking frustrating.

As has been said, getting the league wrapped up asap is paramount now.

Yep, a sense of realism. Was frustrated with the lad last night every bit as much as I was with Karius. But as you say, in the main he's been an able deputy for Alisson.

One thing Ive noticed about him though is he doesnt get much distance when he dives. Also, why do keepers persist doing this 'star' shape type save when the striker isnt very close to them? I noticed Adrian did this for the 2nd or 3rd goal when he should be going full length.

There was talk of him leaving at the end of the season in search of more regular game time and us bringing that young Turkish lad in. Kelleher doesnt look a capable deputy for Alisson in my opinion.

He's done himself no favours last night. Think the quality of club that offers him a contract has decreased a fair bit.

He is far better than Karius and Mignolet.

Karius yes. Mignolet, not in a million years.

All 3 shit though.

I think our sample size is smaller with Adrian and he's always had the benefit of knowing he's just got to get through a small number of games and the pressure is off. I think all 3 are proper poor. Ming was so bad he made Bogdan seem a credible option. Karius was so bad, he made Ming seem a credible option and Adrian has some traits of both of them. What I know for sure is I don't want karius back!

The number of games he's missed due to injury is ridiculous.

He played every Premier League game last year. A muscle injury at the start of the season and then this injury. He's hardly Agger or Owen is he.

The injury come at a bad time yes, but injury prone not even close

Ederson made 2 bigger howlers against the mancs yet hasnt got half the stick our keepers get.

Didn't really matter though.

City were never winning the league. Adrian blunder cost us a place in the next round of the champions league, of course it will be highlighted more

He is what he is.  If any of the front three did what they're paid to do within 90 odd minutes the other evening it wouldn't have mattered.

That is a bit unfair on our forwards as they got us extra time and then gave us a lead in the tie, against one of the snidiest and sneakiest teams in Europe. Adrian just needed to play a simple pass or clearance and didnt even need to make a save if he'd dealt with things properly.

They missed chance after chance Firminho was gash (bearing his actual goal) and has been for a while.

Sign a clown put him in goal and be prepared for stupid shit at some point.  It just happens these points get us knocked out of Competitions.

Hopefully we'll learn a valuable lesson in losing tens of millions in CL money because we have signed back-up keepers on the cheap. Obviously a top notch keeper is not going to want to sit on our bench and we'd be mad to rely on an inexperienced keeper with potential but is it too hard to find a very experienced, regular keeper with a Championship club who might be interested?
