One of the first books I’ve ever read. The only thing memorable about it was the unproportionally large font size.

Aye, an Australian lad lent it to me in a Florianopolis backpacker’s hostel with the recommendation of being hugely meaningful.

It wasn’t the most profound thing I’ve ever read, shall we say.

He’s more than earned his position,  Alisson will have to wait for his chance

Disagree mate. I’m delighted with Adrian so far, and you’re right, he’s earned his place in the team - but, you simply can’t leave a player of Alisson’s quality on the bench. It’s a difficult situation, though. No doubt.

Yeah that sends the right message

Aye we should handicap ourselves by keeping a world class player on the bench to pretend Adrian is actually competition and not just someone whose hopefully just played his last league game for the club.

Thankfully he's done ok during that time but it's plain to see Allison has been missed.

This is Liverpool, we stick together and we earn things on merit, this is what we are about

Outside of one clanger where has he been missed ? Adrian has earned his place, it’s how football works

You're just being daft, he's obviously going to be straight back in since he's better at everything.

Positioning, coming off his line and kicking being the biggest.

Adrian has conceded a few that the big man would have made look easy, Newcastle springs to mind.

I don’t think it’s difficult. Alisson is a superior goalkeeper in every way. His positioning is second to know, his distribution worlds ahead of Adrian’s. If Lovren impressed in place of an injured Van Dijk, you wouldn’t want him starting when the latter returned because he’s simply not on the same level.

Adrian was bought as a back-up keeper, he’ll know the score - he’s already played more games than he would have expected to over the duration of his contract. Thankfully, Klopp isn’t demented enough to ensure that the best goalkeeper in the world slaps in a fully justified transfer request at the end of the season because a freak injury saw him demoted to second choice behind someone who couldn’t buy a game for West Ham last season.

We could and should fetch £100m for Alisson in January and reinvest the monies into an attacking midfielder and six or seven youth prospects from Man City’s scouting database.

Especially since our recent hacking has found that De Bruyne has a £10m release clause that nobody knows about.
