Klopp was asked about Sancho and he didn't do the usual "no chance" answer. Didn't deny anything, just said he "knows how it sounds" (about the rumours I guess) and he has nothing to say about them. Hmmm.

“He’s a very good player,” the manager said. “I have no clue where these kind of things are coming from, but it cannot come from us because we never speak about it.

“If we would be involved, nobody would know about it apart from a person who wouldn’t speak about it. There’s nothing to say.

“Cost? That’s one issue, 100 per cent that would be an issue. But there’s nothing to say about it.

“I know how it sounds, but I cannot change that. There’s nothing to say about it, which can mean there’s absolutely nothing to say about it.”

I get the impression from Klopp that he would walk away from a transfer if it leaked in advance. Fair enough really, if it's an early sign that someone involved can't be trusted then you can't argue with it.

Tottenham Hotspur are willing to listen to offers of less than £40m for Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen, 27.

We should be aggressively monitoring the situation.

We should slap a monitor on the table  --- and show him a replay of the CL final.

Give the poor bloke PTSD? I like the cut of your jib.

Bit different with Ox, he was leaving Arsenal that summer come what may, Chelsea had a bid accepted for him.

Eriksen could be the new experienced squad member for us if he joins on a free in summer, but i don't really think we'll be in for him. He wouldn't play in our front three, and even if Milner, Lallana and Shaqiri all leave, he still wouldn't be first choice in our midfield either.

Any English team who wants him will have to pay a fee in January.

Otherwise he will sign a pre with a team outside of England.

Anything south of 30 mil would be value. There are not many players in the world that combine his workrate and are proven 10 goals - 15 assists year in and year out.

A midfield three of Fabinho Wiji and Eriksen has far more balance than what we can put out now.
