They lost 13 league games and a shitload more cup games if you factor those in.

Having seen most of the games this weekend, it's pretty obvious that City and ourselves are streets ahead. The sad thing is that only for financial doping we'd be looking at a second successive league title.

This knee-jerk stuff about Pochettino is ridiculous. They were miles clear of top 4 last season, so they rightfully decided to focus all their energy on the CL - similar to us in 2018 - which caused them to drop some meaningless points on their way to finishing top 4.

 

He's got 5 points out of a possible 12, in a run of fixtures where they've played City and Arsenal away from home. The only shocking result is the one to Newcastle - which was a one off game. He was in a CL final a couple of months ago after spending £0 on transfers that summer. How about putting pressure on the man who has a record worse than David Moyes?

Pochettino is top 5 in world football. Like Rafa with us however, he may well have found that the time to get out has been and gone. Hard to see how his standing can get any higher than last summer. That Spurs team won't get stronger than the past few seasons.
