Arsenal are absolutely tailor made, purpose built to lose to City.

No two ways about it, don’t disagree. Just think it will be one of those things, especially with the Arteta connection. Wouldn’t be the first time they’ve dropped points in a game nobody would have expected this season.

Pretty much done.

But, I'm still not celebrating.

But, if/when we do get over the line, what amazing character we've shown to win. That infamous Noel Gallagher clip is partly right. Getting 97 points, losing once all season and still not winning the league would finish some teams off and they'd see that as the chance of a title gone.

To bounce back from such a smack in the face and do it again the following season is absolutely amazing.

I remember the 1972 team missing out on the title on goal difference, having had a last minute winner in the last game chalked off for offside. They reacted by winning the league the next season and then went on to even greater things. Let's hope history repeats itself.

Im ok with that. The ramifications are enormous. It's united's year, next year, haha. The gimp gets to keep his job longer. The deluded mancs might think they're good enough to mount a title challenge but that side is 5 years off one.

City looking as gassed and as short of ideas as us. Nothing came off for them and Im happy with that too. The game at the emptihad will come down to who wants to win the most.

I noticed the city players had 'manchester city champions' on the front, not sure if that was to wind up the mancs as Im not aware they've had this on their shirts before apart from the gold PL badge. Wonder if they'll wear it against us?

Cant really see arsenal beating city midweek unless it's a real smash and grab, maybe a draw?

If City and Arsenal is a draw can we still win it at Goodison?

If that's a draw then we need 4 points, so no. But we would then need 1 point from our remaining fixtures.

Be nice to put the play actors out on Wednesday at Anfield and as we're just about to leave George announces city lose to Arsenal.

Some blue heads wobbling today.

No

We would be one point short. Need them to drop 4pts vs Arsenal and Burnley. But if they drop points in one of them games it can be wrapped up vs Palace at home

If they get 3 points or less from their next 2 league games, yes.

Whether that’s draw both, draw 1 lose 1, win 1 lose 1 or lose both.
