Just over £100 up on tonight’s games but I had another two separate bets each with a chance to add another £80. One would have come in if Inter had won, one if they’d drawn. Obviously Barcelona score the late winner. Sticks in the craw that. Fucking shit cunts.

Also had a fiver on Dortmund to win, Sancho FGS and o2.5 goals. Like an absolute DICKHEAD I added Dortmund to have the most corners on to the bet to bump the odds up marginally.

Just read that Jim Smith has died. He seemed like a good egg who created sides that tried to play creative football rather than LMA POMOball.

He'll be a disaster at Everton.

The Bayern players said they were happy when he joined and within months moaning he was pushing them enough in training, same with Napoli. He's to hands off and seems to be just phoning it on for the money.

Ancelotti’s being linked with a lot of decent jobs for a manager who effectively retired a few years ago.

Would have been a potentially awful appointment for us in 2015. Thank Christ the job went elsewhere.

In that UEFA youth league which mirrors the CL senior groups our youngsters went through as group winners yesterday. Chelsea, Spurs and City all knocked out by finishing outside of the top 2.

Atalanta 2-0 up at Shakhtar Donetsk and going through.

They had zero points after 3 games and had to play City in the game 4. Now they are through. Unbelievable. Dinamo Zagreb had 3:1 at home against Shakhtar in injury time at home in game 4, a win would have seen them through with 2 games to spare, now they are last.

Finished 3-0.

Would like to play them in the knockout. Only because we've never played them before and Evertonians wouldn't know whether or not to invite them into The Brick for a buffet after fighting with them last time they were in Europe.

Was a very bizarre game.

Shakhtar were half arsed mostly as was their crowd, but had some rotten luck.

Had a goal chalked off for offside that could have been given. Murial should have got a 2nd yellow. Then roles reversed for VAR which again went against them, VAR giving a goal to Atalanta.

Atalanta would be everyone favourites to get in the draw as their defence is wide open.

The Juve match is a cracker so far.

Coeman landed on his knee whilst controlling an awkward pass and it bent backwards like Ibrahimovic did for United that time when he snapped both ACL and pcl. Looked very nasty.
