That was like the 2001 FA Cup final. Flamengo (like ourselves in 2001) just never got going and River (like Arsenal in 2001) did everything possible to win it. Then their top striker Barbosa (like Owen in 2001), who up to the last 10-15 minutes had barely had a kick, popped up late on with 2 goals to snatch the game and the trophy. Unlike our game in 2001, this one ended with the usual Brazil v Argentina shithousery and a flurry of cards. Why does the commentator keeps calling them Flamenco rather than Flamengo?
