Hard to believe that 12 moths ago this Spurs side got to the CL Final.

Even last year they were incredibly hit and miss but when they were on it, they were very good. They was stale under Pochettino earlier in the season but Mourinho has sucked any remaining life they had out of them.

Both of these are dogshit.

Worrying times if you're a Spurs fan. Normal service if you're a Blue.

Plus, it's hard to imagine how Spurs get better besides buying a couple full backs. They have a core of established veterans in pretty much every other position but who have won nothing and who have stagnated. To evolve, they'll have to flush some of those and I doubt they'll be able to do it.

And still saying and still saying it . Can’t get it out of his head and is bugging him apparently

He should offer Sigurdsson a straightener to sort it out once and for all.

Some major dodgy shit in the Bundesliga.

Werder Bremen started the day in the automatic relegation spot on 28 points, with Fortuna Dusseldorf starting the day 2 points above them in the table in the relegation/promotion play-off spot. Werder had a goal difference of -32 while Fortuna were on -28. Werder had to win big and hope Fortuna either lost or could only draw. So what happened today? Werder beat Koln 6-1 at home while Fortuna lost 3-0 at Union Berlin, thus sending Fortuna down and Werder living to fight another day. Koln were already safe from the drop and are historically one of Fortuna's local rivals. Oh, and Werder had only won 1 game at home all season before today!

Gladbach have secured 4th spot and a place in next season's Champions League. It would be great if we could face them again. There's a camaraderie between the two sets of fans going back to the 1970s, and (assuming fans are allowed in again) the atmosphere would be electric.

Werder Bremen beat Heidenheim on away goals in the promotion/relegation play-off to stay in the Bundesliga. A goalless draw at home at the weekend followed by a 2-2 draw tonight. Hamburg survived by the skin of their teeth on a few occasions before finally falling through the relegation trap door 3 years ago. They are still in the second tier. Werder will need to change something to try and ensure they aren't in this predicament next season. Incidentally, Hamburg are the German version of Aston Villa. The biggest club from the country's second biggest city, and a European Cup winner in the early 80s.

D Sanchez is still young. N’Dombele, Bergwijn, Lo Celso will only improve as they’re new to the league. They’re also starting that twat Dier, replace him with any PL defender and they’d improve.

That's part of my point. They've signed players and have loads of established veterans yet they're still shite. They need to get rid of a lot of people and that won't be easy.

And I told you, Dier is a Mou Mou fav. He'll be there forever.
