I didn’t really happen quickly.  It’s been a decline over the course of years and years.  They stopped signing good players and the good players they had got old and lazy and they panicked and gave them long contracts for big money or they left and they didn’t replace them.

 

It’s not like Arteta was going to walk into the Liverpool or city job.  Every other club is fucked that are trying to hire a manager.  If they’re not then they’re not going to hire a guy who has never managed a club before or sack the guy they’ve currently got for him.

 

Arteta hasn’t given them any favours either.  They were playing fairly well up until the last 10 mins of the first half and Luiz came on and fucked them over.
