Mitten, who extensively covers United, writes that the club sent a scout to watch the midfielder in action back in 2013, when he played for Malaga. The scout reported back that Isco's "head is too big for his body" and United decided against trying to sign him.

"Towards the end of Sir Alex Ferguson's time at Manchester United, a senior club scout was dispatched to assess Isco, then at Malaga. The player was watched several times, before the report was filed back that he wasn't considered good enough to move to Manchester United. 'He's good, but not quite quick enough and his head is too big for his body,' was the verdict on the then 21-year-old playmaker."

And then a few years later they paid £80m for Harry Maguire, who looks like a giant Corinthian Figure..

Proper pricks the stewards and Police here. Copenhagen score again and again they're making a wall to stop them celebrating

Did they walk on the pitch and stop them actually celebrating or just stopped any fans jumping over barriers to get near the pitch?

From what I saw on the 2nd goal just after the pen the Copenhagen players jump the advertising hoardings to get near the fans and the police and stewards jump in front of them pushing them back away from fans. Just acting like dickheads, nothing violent just no need

The police up there are dickheads anyway and the stewards are idiots at Parkhead. Fair play to Copenhagen. Hope they go far. That Kauffman for them looks a player.

I get going to try and win the game but the defending was fucking shocking. Didn't watch the game,at work so only saw bits on the goal show

Got the equaliser then fucking raring forward still as if it was still 0:1. Lennon should have said get into shape and don't give the fucking ball away. The defending for them last two goals at that stage when you just need to see through 8 minutes was utter turd. Two sitters missed in the first half. No wonder everyone takes the piss out of the SPL.

Of course he should.

But they still needed to go for ir the win with the momentum but you dont leave yourself that open. But you also can't legislate for that defending either

Problem is the Ctic board knew Lennon wouldn't have to do much to win the league, he wouldn't demand funds so was the easy option for domestic success.

How does a team good enough to go away to Lazio and win 2-1 lose 3-1 at home to Copenhagen
