If our team deserves something over the last 1.5 seasons and more, other than the title of course, it's our faith... Can't fathom some of our ppl behaving like bitters complaining about iheanacho missing a sitter against city but scoring here and hinting at conspiracies... Get a grip, for fucks sake...

This was Everton that Leicester faced at home. The same Everton that has been shit for like ever... And ppl expected them to take a point against Leicester and now quaking in their boots because they didn't and Leicester are 8 points away? We have hardly played our best through out the season and yet are 8 points away from a side that's playing at their peak.

Who at the start of this season wouldn't take this ?

I think we are letting our desperation get the better of ourselves. Klopp's men have deserved that we have faith in them. Let's worry about ourselves first and not others, we are all in the ride.

Chill out, enjoy the ride coz we might not get this for very long.

8 points clear of a 2nd place Leicester with our main rivals City well off the pace and showing defensive frailties.  Current Champions of Europe and current Super Cup holders with a chance to win the World Club Championship very soon.

Who wouldn't have taken this if offered it at this time last year ?

Throw in the fact that we always go on a roll when our form kicks in approaching Springtime and we're in good shape.

City and Leicester are going to drop more points yet this season, as are we.  As long as we don't drop more than them (and I can't see that) then we'll actually be pretty comfortable.

Lots of twists and turns to come, but that buffer we've built between us and the chasing pack is probably far better than Klopp himself could have hoped for.  It would take a major collapse on our behalf now to fuck it up and with Klopp in charge that I just can't see that shit happening.  He knew exactly what he was on about when he labelled the players as Mentality Monsters.

People are forgetting that although we have a busy December then so do our rivals and other opponents.

Apart from West Ham they all have a Pl game when we are away at the CWC. We have two, but how many players will play in both? The semi final will be a mix and match and the final if we make it will be the game we play a strong team. If we were to get knocked out in the semi, then we'd have two games where we can rest certain players. Our main rivals City and Leicester also play in the league cup, Ok, they'll play weakened teams but they will still include certain players important to them, especially Leicester who are away to Everton. We can play the youngsters mainly with a few fringe players thrown in.

You also have to factor in that most of the weaker teams look at games where they have a chance of picking up points over the busy period. They'll also rest players in certain games and have smaller squads to deal with things. Especially when they approach the 4 games between 21st Dec-1st Jan

Leicester fixtures up until 1st Jan. 8 Games

Watford (H) Easy
Villa (A) That won't be an easy game
Norwich (H) Easy, but you never know.
Everton in LC (A) The rabid dogs will be up for that one

The 4 games in short period.

City (A) Massive for both, anything could happen in the way City defend.
Liverpool (H) A game they'll have to win, we'd be happy with a point and I fancy us to win anyway.
West Ham (A) Not that easy if the right hammers team turn up.
Newcastle (A) Toon will fancy a New Years day game at home and they play OK in front of their fans.

City fixtures up until 1st Jan. 9 games

Burnley (A) Should win, but Burnley have the forward players who will test City's shit defence. Always a hard game at Turf Moor.
Man United (H) Mancs will be desperate for a result, so who knows.
Zagreb CL (A). Dead rubber, but certain players will have to play
Arsenal (A). Should win, but Arsenal like United will be desperate for points. They also have pace up front which City won't like
Oxford in LC (A) Easy win.

The 4 games in short period.
Leicester (H) Massive for both as I've said above
Wolves (A) After what happened at the Emptyhad City will be wary and Wolves will fancy getting something
Sheff United (H) Tricky game, plus we know SU will test them.
Everton (H) Easy game, or will it be, Everton could be in dire shit by then.

Liverpool fixtures up until 2nd Jan. 10 Games, but two of those will be playing way below or best 11.

Everton (H) That last minute winner for Leicester must be a kick in the bollocks for them. We know what to expect and I fancy us to win this, we're in their heads under Klopp.
Bournemouth (A) Our last four games all won against them either 3-0 or 4-0. They aren't playing well at the moment either.
Salzburg on CL (A) Hard game due to what's at stake, so this one will take up some energy.
Watford (H) Should be an easy game, hopefully.
Villa in LC (A). Will be the youngsters, so what will be will be.
CWC Semi. Probably a mixed team with a strong bench
CWC Final/3rd place po. Former, hard game and one we'll want to win. Latter, play the weakest team possible.

3 games in short period.

Leicester (A). Massive, although the pressure will be on Leicester.
Wolves (H) Tricky game, but one which we should win if we defend well.
Sheff United (H) They'll be coming off the back of their game against City, we are at home. Tricky, but we should win.

When you see things in front of you like above, hopefully those who are being overcautious will realise that it isn't as bad as it seems and we do have an 8 point lead in the league over Leicester and 11 over City. Leicester have the hardest busy period due to travelling, quite fancy them to be out of the race when Jan comes around.

Well put.

This fucking lark in Qatar is a ball ache IMO though.

Really hate the idea of falling a game behind and it possibly making game at Leicester more pressured.

Pts on the board over games in hand.

If we win our 3 games before we travel then we will be at least 10 to 12 points clear by the time we have Leicester. They will have to have won 9 or 10 on the bounce, they're not good enough to do that.

I can see Leicester dropping points away to Villa. If we take care of our end then their 4 game busy period will be a killer for them. As I said above, I fancy them to be out of any title race come January. After playing City and ourselves they've been given a cunt of two away fixtures by the so called random fixture thingy. Away in London and away in Newcastle a few days later. Before they play West Ham the hammers are away to Palace, so stay in London. Before they play Newcastle the Toon have a home game against Everton.

City will prove to be our major rivals as the cunts will just casually spend 100 million+ in January. I'm hoping that before they can do that the gap between us and themselves will stay the same or indeed lengthen. I'd prefer Leicester to beet them in a gruelling game. I also wouldn't be at all surprised if Wolves take points off City.

I’m alright with it, first half of this shit fest then switch over to the city game. Back at half time to finish off the early game then flip back to city. My evening is sorted

That is why they've made the second game 21:15 KO (Ok an hour earlier for you lot) Same again for tomorrow.

Got the games live on Sky Germany so not arsed, but logged into Amazon prime Germany and it doesn't seem to be an option, probably because Sky Germany have the rights to the PL and then theres the language shit, German companies not allowed to broadcast in original tone because UK Govt/PL said that UK pubs etc would buy the chaeper services in instead of using Sky UK etc....

That's a bad tackle by Sakho shit, deserved red....dark red.
