Our lead might have been cut to 8 points, but I'm still laughing at that.

Same.

Got 606 on and the female presenter has already said twice “Everton first; to their fans, we can hear your hearts breaking from here”.

I don’t think she’s trying to troll them but I’m pissing myself.

You just can't fuck up at all in this league it's absolutely ludicrous. I'm over the moon at our results but I'm beginning to worry about our performances. We look tired and with the batshit crazy fixture list coming up I can't see that improving.

Agreed. The lack of clean sheets is going to be a problem if it carries on. 2 in 14 isn't title winning stuff.

Jurgen was fully expecting the result as was I so doesnt change anything. Would have been great if they'd drawn but they just ragged it today.

They do have some easy games but are they going to take 3 points off city, not convinced?

Everton at home was probably their easiest game on paper, they struggled at times today and if Everton could shoot properly they could have easily won themselves. Leicester are good, but I'm pretty sure they'll drop points where they and others least expect it.

Yet we are 8 points clear!! If we keep clean sheets from now on all the better, those we haven't don't mean a thing, because apart from the manc game we won them all.

On reflection, rather than being annoyed at not being 10points clear, I think it's better we have somebody close enough to us to keep us worried, for want of a better word. Last thing we need is to get a bit complacent and drop our levels of effort as it's our effort that's winning us games lately.

Much better to have a team keeping us honest. City and ourselves kept each other motoring last year.

We'll have to batter the bitters now Wednesday given Leicester have Watford and that's a guaranteed 3 points

We are getting the results but Jesus I don't like Leicester being so near.

They do us at their place and it's five points.

Hopefully we get 9 points in our next three games before going to Doha and Leicester, Chelsea and City drop a few points.

We're not going to win the title by a massive margin though. Reading some comments, people are panicking because Leicester won their 'game in hand' on us. That really is all. I dread to think what some are going to be like if we do drop 3 or 4 points. And we'd still be 4 points ahead. It's batshit crazy!

It is a massive pain in the arse that we have to fall a game behind due to this shite in Qatar.

Silver lining is Leicester and Man City play each other that week - so at least both can't gain 3 pts on us that week.

i think alot remember what happened last year when we were about the same amount of points ahead and how fast that turned around
