Rank our midfielders

In this little exercise we are assuming that Fabinho is our first choice defensive midfielder, which means we currently have the following competing for the two spots further forward:

Hendo

Gini

Milner

Keita
Ox

Lallana

6 players, 2 positions, what order would you rank them?

Please note, we are playing 433, so no Firmino as number 10 suggestions. Likewise Shaqiri has not been picked in a midfield 3 so he isn't included.

Also no nonsense like "whoever Klopp picks is fine by me".  Or "whoever is in the best form".  Or "it depends on the opponent".  Or even worse "we don't have a first choice midfield, they are all important players".

Just rank them 1-6 as to who you think is the best.

Fabinho

Wijnaldum

Henderson

Milner

Keita

Ox

Lallana

based on last season and the pecking order for heading into the new season. Keita can push his way to clear number 1 spot if he starts playing to his full potential, Ox and Lallana could also make some upward movements if they can stay fit. We have a world class midfield corps, very happy with that position

At the moment it's something like

Gini

Hendo

Milner/Keita

Ox

Lallana

Could easily be

Gini

Keita

Ox

Hendo

Milner

Lallana

Feel like something has to give with this to he honest as the season goes on. Big seasons for Keita and Ox. Milner always has games Klopp likes him for, and Klopp loves him off the bench too to settle us down. Will get games at left back too you'd think.

The mad thing is we probably still have room in there for a Coutinho type too.

Just can't see Lallana getting much game time.

I think they'll all be rotated across the three positions. So I'd make it...

Category A:

Fabinho

Wijnaldum

Henderson

Milner

Category B (based on relative form and fitness):

Keita

Chamberlain

Category C (based on total unreliability):

Lallana

Depends on who we are playing.

Home away against non top 10 sides

Ox and hopefully Nabby if he gets it together. If not Hendo or Milner

Europe/big games

2 of Gini, Hendo or Milner

Overall

Ox

Milner

Gini/Hendo

Keita

Curtis Jones

Matip

Mingolet

U12s

Lallana
