Cheese and biscuits with port.

Thread should have ended with this. The only answer you need.

Edit: It depends where you go. Went to the Clockhouse in Ripley (Surrey) with Mrs Tash and the waiter took us through the cheese menu and the best wine to pair with it. Absolutely delightful.

My Nan used to make boss puddings. Jam Roly Poly, Treacle Tart, Spotted Dick (no sniggering at the back), all the old suet stuff as well as Rice Pudding, Stewed Apple, pies, crumbles, you name it. Proper custard too.

Real puddings, bloody lovely they were.

I went for tapas earlier today and had Tarta de Santiago with a dollop of orange cream on top. I’ve had it once before and enjoyed it then too. It’s an almond cake with powdered sugar on top. It’s boss.

And, for me, it’s up there in the top tier desserts with cheesecake, banoffee pie, sticky toffee pudding and key lime pie.

That's the stuff with coffee in it? Tried it once and nearly threw up. Probably the only dessert I physically can't eat.

It is.

This particular one had only a very slight sponge base - which is the part that is soaked in coffee - so not a very strong taste of coffee.

I enjoyed it
