Not even in a pie?

Strawberries and cream is class, although I would never choose it over a pie, tart, pudding or cake.

I love fruit but fucking hate it in a pudding.

Puddings should be chocolate, sponge, toffee, cream, stuff like that. Apples & strawberries can fuck off back to the fruit bowl, where they belong.

Cheesecake has to be the best though with a nice scoop of Gelato and Mascarpone on the side to maximise the unhealthiness of it all.

Cheese cake is mascarpone, isn’t it?

Mascarpone plays havoc with my I.B.S. Goes straight through me. I have to eat it on the bog, AC Slatering style, so I can use the cistern as a table.

Try using Lactose free stuff. Pricey but worth it. Mascarone is one way of doing a nice cheesecake. Another is using Greek Yoghurt and Philadelphia mixed and whisked. Then Whipping Cream and Sugar whipped in a separate bowl, add together then whip slowly. All available Lactose free.

Home made trifle with mega thick cold custard and fresh thick cream on top is the obvious answer.

Tiramisu is vile and I will eat almost anything sweet.

Fucking hell. The first part of this post is spot on. Never enough custard and cream in shop bought trifle. The second part is mental!

Here's a basic recipe Tony. The wild berries are obviously optional as you can use any topping or even uses a flavoured Greek Yoghurt like Honey etc.

Pavlova or Eton Mess

Baked Alaska

Sticky Toffee Pudding

Tarts with a good ice cream

Crumble with custard

And creme caramel by the bucket load

Baked Alaska and Creme Caramel are great shouts.

Eton Mess is a cunt’s dessert. I’d rather eat just about anything else.
