The Jaws ride at Universal was great. I'll never get why they scrapped it.

 

I do think they'll bring it back one day and when they do it'll be the most popular ride in the park.

Seen that their showing this at my local cinema in the next few weeks, tempted to see it on the big screen now.

 

One of those films I never bore of despite seeing it a couple times a year at least, if it was on right now I’d happily watch it.

Saw that the book is currently 99p on the Amazon Kindle store at the weekend, bought it and have started reading it again since.

 

(Had a copy of the paperback when a kid but can’t remember it being so long ago and surprised how different it is to the film already)

 

Brody’s marriage troubles, dodgy business dealings from residents, Ellen’s flirting with an affair and her longing for her formally privileged upbringing.

 

The shark is barley a footnote at parts!!

 

Really enjoying it so far.

Haha fuck me mate I got it off eBay at the start of the month for about 2.50. I'm just over half way through it. Far more detail about the characters etc. Ellen is a slag!

A lot more depth to it than I remember and I’m half way through also, just finished the dinner party bit earlier.

Hahaha Hooper the little fucker. Cant believe Ellen though I nearly threw my book across the room. Then considered a wank over her. Did neither. 

 

 

The end, that last page wound me up. Did the shark even fucking die? Spielberg managed to make a film far better than the book. Very rare that happens. 

 

Boss book though.
