Spring Cleaning

Recommended Posts

Spent about three hours cleaning out my bedroom this morning and found some really odd stuff in odd places...

An unopened shirt under the dresser.

CD containing travelling photos (I thought they had been lost forever)

All kinds of coins notes about £20 worth

Dropped tea bags

Cables, gadgets and software from yesteryear.

I must have thrown out about four bags worth of stuff that wasn't needed and so much space has been freed up. Even the hoover started burning up and is now defunct as a result of all the cleaning.

What things have you found during spring cleans?

I found my old Gibson les Paul when I helped my mum clean out her attic for a house move. Weird how I'd lost track of what happened to it. Anyway I asked her if I could store it in her new attic for now.

A lost guitar trumps my lost coins.

Lifey doesn't do spring cleaning, he just burns the junk.

I’m not a bird so I don’t hoard useless fucking junk.

When the ex moved out I did a tip run to get rid of all the bollocks she kept in ‘memory boxes’ for us.

I once shat in the wiods and peeled off some birch bark and used that.

I thought that was just Canada in general?

Well indoor plumbing only arrived when the Americans began opening up Home Depot and Lowes stores. We all attended tutorials on how to flush these weird contraptions.

Saddest time of the year though is when your house melts.
