Absolute shite again

All our hardest games clustered together again and this is just staggering....

Manchester City will begin the new Premier League season at West Ham United and face only one of last season’s top six in the opening 10 games

In the meantime we face 4 of the top 6 in those first 10.

You tell me how that is fair!?

TBH, the hardest time to face the so called easy games is at the start of the season when teams will be more up for it and not struggling. I don't mind our fixture list to be honest, we are capable of winning them all. Plus big games clustered together keeps the players at the top of their own game, plus hopefully we'll have a better squad. Our busy fixture list around Xmas/New year is pretty easy, whereas City have a tough December. I've not worked out games around the CL ties yet.

On a side note, I see the red Mancs have ran out of favour. I can actually see them losing most of their opening fixtures in Aug/Sept, Ole could be driving a car to the airport rather than the big red Bus.

First look - who do we play first game?

Second look - when do we play Everton?

Third look - when do we play Utd?

Forth look - who do we play last game of season?

Fifth look - Boxing day fixture?

Sixth look - when do we play City/Spurs/Chelsea/Arsenal?

City fans will be straight to when do we play Liverpool. Fucking no marks.

We seem to get these clusters of facing our toughest games....Spurs for example do not face other top 6 sides back to back at all next season..

Yet we have 3 such runs.

Is what it is of course, but seems we get it every year.

City facing 1 top 6 side in first 11 is a joke, when we face 4 in same period.

None of the top 6 apart from us made City work for their points last season. I've more faith in Palace, Newcastle or Wolves taking points off City than Utd, Arsenal, or Chelsea.

I genuniely don't mind getting Arsenal and Tottenham at home, Chelsea and United away done nice and early. In the latters case, they could both be in a certain amount of disarray - chelsea without sarri and hazard and united with ole at the wheel. If we are in a title race and i expect us to be, going into the latter part of the season, we have less of those nasty away games. Would rather have played the blueshite away early doors for that reason rather than them have another cup final against us.

We will both have tough periods next season.

The only negative would be mo, bobby, and sadio coming back knackered after the copa/acn and they could be sluggish the first few games. Fuck it though we have Divock.

The amazon prime thing is going to piss a lot of people off.  The pubs aren’t going to want to pay for amazon or possibly won’t have the tech to put streamed games on which means no games will be on in the pubs on Boxing Day.  It’s possibly the biggest day of the year for domestic football.  The premier league need to be careful with this shit because too many subscriptions will put people off buying any.

In terms of the actual fixtures ours are okay.  I’ve seen a lot of people flapping about city’s run in but they win these games anyway.  What we needed was them to have a good solid run of difficult games bunched together.  If you look at Feb/March time they’ve got a very difficult run which will coincide with the cups and champions league.
