I always associate scotch eggs with depressing buffets. You know when you see them on a table you're going to have a shit time.

Not having that.

Well, yeah, because there are scotch eggs and there are scotch eggs. There are those dismal, plastic wrapped, mass produced efforts that fester in petrol station chiller cabinets and there are the ones that you get at good delis and farmers type markets which are just fabulous with cold beer on a hot day

Victoria sponge in the God tier? They must have had a member of the WI hold a knife to their throat, or were just a load of Brexit twats. The sort of cunts who don't know the difference between a cottage pie and a shepherd's pie either. "Minced arsehole with a bit of mash on top innit?"

Tony is probably busy writing an expletive-ridden declaration of jihad on the omission of the Findus Crispy Pancake.

To be fair, a good Victoria sponge is sound. Easily one of my top 5 cakes.

In no particular order

Coffee and walnut

Lemon drizzle

Victoria sponge

Simnel

Carrot
