The "Bobby" role and who could do it

Could Donny van de Beek do the firmino role? 22years old, plays in a very similar role to Bobby and as we all saw in games against real, juve and spurs, knows where the goal is and his hold up and interlink play is outstanding.
And,as an added bonus, being a product of the Ajax academy, he can seamlessly slot into midfield if needed.
I'm surprised he's not been mentioned before for the Bobby role, and if he has then my apologies.

It's just too late in the evening to try and work this out.

Never gonna happen, but Marcus Rashford.

Sorry I thought I had mistakenly entered the cheese thread. I reckon Rashford makes good cheese.

He’d play that role a bit differently, but he works hard, and very comfortable pulling wide or deep.

Do you reckon? I see him more as a runner and finisher. But maybe I haven’t been paying attention.

Bobby is about the pressing, sure, but also the clever movement and creative passing.

Not sure I’ve seen any of that from Rashford.

You have, Ardja hasn't.

Rashford is a completely different, and vastly inferior, player to Firmino.

Rashford has more in common with pre injury Origi than Firmino.
