Back on topic, I was once really down about a bird & put Houses of the Holy (LP) on at full pelt & felt much better after that. Rock & Roll is a great cure for the blues.

I've got nothing against NIN, and I don't think all of Cash's cover versions were a good idea.

 

But for me his version of Hurt blows the original away, mainly because IMO Reznor sounds like a whiney emo twat singing it, whereas Cash sounds like someone who had a life and lived every day of it.
