Having watched bits of womens football over the past few tournaments , one of the best things was the lack of play acting & cheating compared to the mens game , but it seems to be creeping in particularly with the USA and I am sure this trend will increase.

Haven’t watched , it though did notice the covered up talking bollocks with some team.

England fans: let’s throw chairs around our host city and sing ten German bombers

Not bothered by it, but it's just one of those weird as fuck American perspectives on Britain.  Surprised she didn't have a fucking bowler hat hidden in her shorts...

She can fuck off with the "double standard for women" bollocks though, she must have missed the furore over Shaq's celebration against Serbia.

She's waffling that it is some saying that was made popular by Sophie Turner ( GoT ) on her twitter , along the lines of

' And That's the Tea ' meaning the truth,

Must say there is a whiff of 'eating the grass' about that explanation.

Not seeing where the outrage is coming from England to be fair , Rapinoe had it right ' Wah,Wah,Wah '

P Neville and the Womens team getting far too much praise from the media. The only team they beat from the top 10 ranked teams is Japan, and they're ranked 7th. The States are a very good team, so no disgrace losing against them. Sweden are solid but only 9th ranked in the World. England went into the tournament ranked 3rd only behind The USA and Germany.

Sackable offence.

No, no, no. We are British, god damn it! Togger. Jumpers for goalposts. Nanny looking after our cuts and bruises. Swallows and Amazons. Home in time for cake and lashings of ginger beer. Boarding school. Letters from mummy. Poor but happy and grateful people working in factories and up chimneys. Sir Francis Drake playing bowls in the face of the Spanish Armada. Agincourt. Waterloo. Trafalger. The British Empire. The Raj. Rourke’s Drift. Queen Elizabeth II. The Commonwealth. Glorious failure. When we face a set back we rise again.

This is a valiant effort worthy of promotion to the men’s team. And a knighthood. Arise Sir Phil.
