Scots unlucky. Saved a last min pen only for it to be retaken as the keeper was off the line.

That rule in conjunction with VAR is going to result in a shitload of penalties being retaken. You just know it’ll reach boiling point when some clown in charge of an important game orders a retake for an infringement by the keeper despite the penalty being scored.

That re-take was over officious, but that's how things are going with VAR.  Are goalkeepers going to have to position themselves behind the goal line in order to get momentum on a penalty?  Or would that be against the rules as standing behind the goal line is effectively standing out of play?

It was an atrocious penalty. Keeper would have saved it blindfolded and with her hands tied behind her back.

Can only have one foot in front of the line, but you’re not allowed to be behind. The other must be on it.

Make the pitches a 5th smaller, same with the goals. Would improve the women's game.

Currently in the world cup, they are averaging 3 goals a game. Would expect this to fall as the competition progresses and the weaker teams drop out.

The Premier League averaged 2.8 goals per game, for the world cup in Russia it was 2.6.

I don't see the issue with the goal sizes if they are scoring roughly the same amount of goals as in the men's game?

Also, wouldn't this possibly cause issues at the grass roots level, where pitches are increasingly becoming harder to come by? They'd have to play on pitches for U13/14, and my guess is there is less of them than full size pitches.

Same here, but for different reasons. I reckon it was a goal, but VAR would have allowed the cunts to accept it and get over it.

I thought SD was referring to the fact that Dudek was on the 6 yard line before the Milan players took their pens
