Read an article online today that says Klopp is only one of three managers of an English team to win all 4 major trophies: The League, FA cup, League Cup and European cup. The other 2 being Ferguson with United and Guardiola with City. 

Paisley and Clough never won the FA cup and Busby never won the league cup. Mourinho never won a CL in England either. So no mean feat to accomplish that.

In other news, my mate's wife has dropped out - so I'm going on her ticket. I'm his wife now.

It was a great night.

 

Lightning Seeds and Zutons were amazing too!

 

The crowd sang Jurgen songs many times in the evening, and it was a great tribute to him. And I loved how at the end, as we were all leaving the arena, the crowd spontaneously burst into a rendition of Allez Allez Allez - it sort of was a nice reminder that this isn't the end. It's just a checkpoint for us. A momentous one, but we're still Liverpool FC, we're still together and we march on.

I didn't try to go to this because I went to the 2005 10 year reunion one at the Arena and it was full of knobheads, including myself.

 

I hope for Arne's sake that this is the end of the long goodbye now. Looking forward to the Arne content
