He's right,of course, but only partly. It has more historic reasons as well. Such as this.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1911_Liverpool_general_transport_strike.

This is where Churchill sent gunboats to patrol and dock on the Mersey and two striking men were killed while protesting.

Superb answer to a loaded question. What I love is he could have stopped after first question . The second question  two ram his point home emphatically.  This is how I want my )

manager and players to think and reflect on wider society.  There will always be rich people, it is their view of the less well off that makes the person . I love  the man and you can see why players will run though a brick wall for him .

He mentioned Spurs away at least 3 times in his interview last night. Also talked about some really strange referee decisions. Presumably he's having it known he wants Tierneys and Kavanagh no where near either of the big matches on Sunday. Either that or he's referring to some wider conspiracy.

He doesn't normally moan too much about refs but he knows that the officials at Spurs have probably cost us the title with their "inexplicable" decisions and he's  clearly still pissed off about it.

This.

He also made the point that our squad was killed by Covid during the 2 draws with Spurs and Chelsea - a game he even missed.

My wife doesn't normally follow football except for being happy for me when we win but the last couple of months have seen her sitting down and watching most of the games with me.

We don't ever have banners up on the house but today I came home to this. This is the Klopp factor.

Hope you don't live near Woodison/near any bloos...

That's brilliant though.  Kudos to your wife
