Obviously there will be more turnover but it is a case of just 2 players every year to keep it fresh. The man has done some job in the last 6.5 years. 

 

 

If he avoids more serious injuries, VVD will be able to play on like Ramos & Thiago Silva.

If Jurgen extends, then it gives pretenders to the throne (Gerrard, Potter etc) time to prove their worth.

It seems this is how we roll these days , Jurgen probably agreed this new deal a few weeks ago its kept under wraps then gets leaked the day before its publicly announced great work by the club .
