Hope you dont,or lay it off if drawing after about an hour and then we score twice to win.

It's mostly not my money, well technically it's all mine. Joined some match betting website and got a £10 free bet if my first bet loses. Put £10 on spurs and then spun another £10 on the slots. Won £100 and stuck it on Spurs. I could cash out now and lose the £110 or let it ride.

It won't help and if I win (which I fucking hope I do not) I'll just buy all the family Liverpool shirts with it.

I never have, and don’t think I ever will.

incould understand it with city in the league, maybe, as you’re betting on them winning more games than we do, not betting on us to lose.

i can’t ever imagine feeling ok at backing us to lose a match though.

whether money in my pocket would make me feel any better, I’m not sure it would to be honest.

It never feels right betting *directly* against my own team.

That said, I tried something this season, to try and make use of my general shitness at gambling. Stuck 30 quid on City to beat Newcastle back in January, with the desired effect.

Thinking there might be something in this, I bet on City in every game since and I'm now 200 quid richer. Fucksake.

Had a discussion with work colleagues this afternoon. Do you (or have you) bet against your team to somehow lessen the pain from losing? Is it kosher? Interested to see the general consensus

This is where you chose to seek wisdom, maybe best on the GF or not on the internet at all as sensible answers will be in short supply.
