Beyond a joke now. Well done to Gerrard and his shower of cunts. It would be easy to say Celtic handed them it but you can’t argue with how well they’ve done. I hate being humble when it comes to them lot but there is no denying they are deserving champions.
The only saving grace for me is Gerrard might fuck them off now in the summer for a job down here.

The whole 10-in-a-row thing is a bit of a millstone that has seen both clubs fall in the past.

Since Rangers demotion a decade ago, Celtic have had years where as a team, they haven't had to get out of second or third gear to beat teams and win trophies domestically. The level of 'up-for-it'-ness of the players extended only as far as doing well enough to catch the eye of bigger fish in bigger leagues. It has proved enough for a decade now.

When that mentality is faced with a genuine challenge like we are now seeing with Stevie's Rangers, these players cannot lift themselves to match the challenge and try to claw back their previous dominance. It CAN come back after a year or so as players do (mostly) have some professional pride, and because the other side will then have to dealt with being the side that's there to be shot down.

Celtic stopped Rangers' own 10-in-a-row attempt in the 90s due to this.

Yeah you're spot on. The 00's was great because it was 50/50 going into every season. Up until 97/98 it was always gonna be the other lot you only had to look at the squads. Tommy Burns had a great side in 96/97 but they just lacked the killer instinct at the business end. Shame because the likes of Di Canio, Andreas Thom and Cadete were superb players up there.

It might just suit him now after years away. I believe the family are still settled over the

water. Not that far away for getting home more.  Old friend in charge of their only real rivals. I hope he takes the job. Love the man. I can’t stand Lennon.

Rafa must be mad, why would a manager of his calibre go to a Scottish club? Great coup for Celtic if it happens though. At least he'll stop their ritual humiliation in European games.

No VAR in Scotland so the Football is arguably a better watch than 'The Best League In The World' at the moment.
