People act like these things happen in a vacuum. Violence is woven into every aspect of our society. Obviously you can’t condone people lobbing concrete, but it isn't an escalation in violence. Far from it

Of course it is -- people saw that throwing milkshakes was accepted as a negative response and someone took it a step further - they escalated it. You can be sure that the next step will be some chemical in the milkshake.
