Democrats.

Please shut the fuck up. Biden was cruising until he started flappin his hole. The House was locked up until this latest clusterfuck on the infrastructure.

Shit like this everyday - Buttigieg - Transportation Secretary:

" If an underpass was constructed such that a bus carrying mostly Black and Puerto Rican kids to a beach, [...] in New York was designed too low for it to pass by, that that obviously reflects racism that went into those design choices."

WTF are you talking about?

What??

There is no underpass - it is an example he decided to use to answer a question about racism in 2021 in the Transportation sector.

It's ridiculous realistically and politically and that is the point.

Answer - We are doing everything we can to provide safe, affordable transportation to all our citizens.

He might as well have thrown out some 1950's movie quotes about the wrong side of the tracks.

Fucking double standards in the USA is wonderful . The comments after the recent Virginia election being a prime example. People voted for a rich white supremacist FFS. Joy Reid on cnbc rolling out political commentators who would have people screaming racist if spoken by a republican. The democrats failed to engage the local population and paid the price.

America is utterly fucked. Biden is only a brief interlude in the Trump madness, I don't think Trump will be back but his politics - and a culture which embraces buffoonery and general gobshitery - is here to stay.

Think you are right but the bufoonery and general gobshitery is coming from both sides and is being helped along by the media. I wouldnt call Bidens presidency an interlude.

This fella was elected when Trump wasn't even a Republican yet:

Republican Rep. Paul Gosar posted a photoshopped anime video to his Twitter and Instagram accounts showing him appearing to kill Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and attacking President Joe Biden.

Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in response Monday saying a "creepy member" of the House had "shared a fantasy video of him killing me."
"And he'll face no consequences bc @GOPLeader cheers him on with excuses," the New York Democrat added.

There are today, of course, many routes to Jones Beach. The Southern State Parkway is still the swiftest and most scenic, for all its crazed drivers and constant commuter traffic.

The fact there are other ways doesn’t mean it’s ok this one hasn’t ever been resolved.

The US is full of convoluted ways of instilling racism into the system. For instance, they can't stop black people voting any more, so what they do is bring in laws banning felons from voting, then send all the black folk to prison, and disenfranchise them that way.

Great documentary on that fella - if you have not seen 13th it is well worth a watch.

Have you ever been in Harlem - there has never been any money for fixing stuff - even stuff that has collapsed.

The problem was very obviously resolved decades ago and if he wanted to make a political point - he has.

By interjecting pre-depression era society. A dog whistle designed to enrage both extremes. Pretty crap tbh.

Worse case scenario would be that they (Biden administration) didn't anticipate how this would play.

Are there any ‘white only’ water fountains?

And I’ve never been to Harlem, but as a

nearly 50 yr old white bloke in Stockport I’d heard of this bridge at some point so if I have maybe it resonates with the audience.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeit

The Supreme Court has voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito and obtained by POLITICO. “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” Alito writes.

Apparently the weird Christian lady judge said that women don’t need abortions since they no longer get prosecuted for giving children up for adoption.

Chris Hedges has been predicting this for years. Their aim is a far right, plutocratic Christian theocracy and they're getting closer and closer to it.

Scary times.
