Baby’s Day Out was a favourite of mine when I was little and I watched it with Turdsette last week. I want to sit down with her and watch some more films away from the really obvious ones like Disney, Pixar, etc. I’m thinking maybe Honey I Shrunk the Kids or Flight of the Navigator this weekend but my memory is awful so I’m probably missing some belters.

Some good shouts though. Hocus Pocus was already on my list. She already likes Matilda and Jumanji. I’m not sure Gremlins and The Mask are age appropriate!

Don’t know what it was classed as when it came out but my two oldest nephews love it (aged 7 and 9). Wasn’t sure what age the Turdsette was.

Song of the Sea, Irish film, deals with loss and might be a little slow for some kids, but it's a top quality film.

Yeah, I’ve seen it mate. We had it on 3D DVD, I think as part of a pair with Monster House, but sold them a few weeks ago. New telly isn’t 3D.
