It's going to be a Sunday 7am kick off for me here in Aotearoa.

I'll be watching it on the Sky Fan Pass App on my iPhone. I don't have Sky Sport, as I can't afford it, so I went all out on a $15 monthly subscription to Fan Pass for one device. I may be able to get to my Mum, but the iPhone is too small for her to see. She's 92 and partially blind. We've both been lucky enough in our lives to have been at Anfield for big games, and like me, she's just about a life long supporter. We'll be together, but I doubt she'll see much. However, the sense of the occasion won't be lost on her. She's up with the play and her memories of Shanks, Thompson, Hunt, St John, Smith, Lawrence etc are as vivid now as they were standing on the Anfield Road End through the sixties.

Christ Almighty I'm crying right now, as I type this. Come on you Men in Red. Let's show the world who the greatest team was, is, and always will be.

That's lovely mate. Long life seems to run in your family too. Your Mum's parents have invited themselves round as well!

Normally try and get together with my dad, brother and cousins back home or in Liverpool, but given we're hundreds/thousands of miles apart this time is more difficult. Watched the Sevilla final in central London and disliked the experience thoroughly with loads of blurts ripping into our injury depleted side, so I could imagine that'll be up a notch against Spurs. So will probably watch it at home like a sad act with endless phone calls after the final whistle if we win.

That is exactly what I'll be doing and I'm in Canny Farm. My sanity can't stand the stress if seeing Harry Kane FC give us a hiding!

Bit of a mix up on tickets for the Arena ( my three mates got them but I ballsed it up )  , so will have a few drinks with them in town before and after & find a hostelry for the match itself.

p.s. If anyone ends up with an unwanted ticket for the Arena let me know & I'll take it.

I’ll be watching it at home fully anaesthetised with several large gin and tonics followed by 4 or 5 Morretis

I will be spouting utter bollocks on the match thread so apologies in advance

Great choice of alcohol!

I'll be watching with my 7 year old son at home. He stayed up and watched the final with me last year so hopefully a different outcome this time.

I was thinking Headingley but might do city centre myself.

Was thinking of reserving a table at Brotherhood, unless you know anywhere you would recommend?

I know Grove used to be a Liverpool pub as used to run supporters club out of there back in the day.

Will they have it on that massive screen outside at The Original Oak dya think?

At Brisbanes Treasury casino if I can score a lift from Springfield, they're doing weekend track work on the rail link. The KO is at 5am and have to be there and ensconced  by 3am, a logistical nightmare. That or I'll be cringing behind the sofa peeping through my fingers, loaded with scotch and soda.

I’ll be in Belfast with the missus. Heading up from Dublin Saturday morning. Anyone got any venue recommendations?

Funnily enough my lad is going to Dublin for the weekend,he booked it a while ago without realising its significance, and I was going to ask for recommendations for places in Dublin. Never been to Belfast though.

There’s quite a few outdoor venues in Dublin that’ll be good. DTwo and The  Living Room have massive outdoor screens. I was indoors at Sinnotts for the Barca match. The place went mental. It’s managed by Liverpool fans I believe.
